It's so hard to watch this Maxine. I just read your post before this one and your right...we go about our daily lives and their is disaster somewhere else.
The thing I find comfort through all of this is knowing that God is there. I'm praying that those that lost their lives had salvation...for that's the hardest part for me is knowing that thier may have been lost souls.
While the rest of bloggers are still blogging about everyday life, I'm thankful to come here and find a soul who is blogging about others.
I am a sinner saved by grace. Every day I am reminded of how thankful I am for the blood of Jesus Christ, which has saved me from my sins and made me a child of God.
I am a wife of one, a mama of two and a nanna of three so far, trying to write and live to the glory of God in my latter years.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Please stay awhile and look around my little corner of the internet. I love having you and would be delighted if you'd leave a comment. Maybe we'll share a smile or tear together, enjoy a recipe, riddle or poem. Whatever we do here, I hope that it will be to encourage each other in our pilgrimage. Have a wonderful day and please come again--very soon.
Blessings,
Maxine ( a/k/a Nanna)
Remember thewords of Jesus:"For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. . .Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." Matthew 25:35-36, 40
