Hi Sweet Maxine! I think I saw this and it is neat. We like the Walton's too. : ) So glad to see you posting I've been concerned on how you are doing. : )
I apologize for being so out of touch, Maxine, but I wanted to take a moment to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas. We are expecting our 4th grandchild's birth any day now, and that is the best Christmas ever, the birth of a child, just as our Lord and Saviour was born as a babe for our salvation.
Late in reading, but wanted you to know this was a favorite of mine. And it still is. Been watching reruns on DirecTV lately. Wonderful family program.Wish we had some like this now for the grandkids.
I am a sinner saved by grace. Every day I am reminded of how thankful I am for the blood of Jesus Christ, which has saved me from my sins and made me a child of God.
I am a wife of one, a mama of two and a nanna of three so far, trying to write and live to the glory of God in my latter years.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Please stay awhile and look around my little corner of the internet. I love having you and would be delighted if you'd leave a comment. Maybe we'll share a smile or tear together, enjoy a recipe, riddle or poem. Whatever we do here, I hope that it will be to encourage each other in our pilgrimage. Have a wonderful day and please come again--very soon.
Blessings,
Maxine ( a/k/a Nanna)
Remember thewords of Jesus:"For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. . .Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." Matthew 25:35-36, 40

Good to hear from you, dear Laurie. I just popped over to your blog and left a comment. So sorry to read of your mom's passing.
Nothing better than a new baby for Christmas! Enjoy! You know I'm with you on that one!
