Happy Spring

Well, folks, it appears that we've made it. On this first day of spring we can rejoice that we got through one of the worst winters that I can remember. And oh, how happy everyone is. The birds are, of course; we've been talking much about their singing, but I think most of us are feeling it a bit more than is usual for the coming of the season. Everything is still pretty bare outside, but the temperatures are wonderful! Low seventies for today; now you can't get much better than that!

Enjoy the day where you are! Summer is on it's way. Which, by the way doesn't necessarily make me happy, because as you will recall, I dislike summer, with it's mosquitoes, humidity and other discomforts, but let's just enjoy each as it comes.

And have a nice Lord's Day tomorrow! Don't let this health care legislation get you down--The Lord is in control. If He doesn't answer our prayers in the way that we desire, we can rest assured He is doing what is absolutely His will for this country. And His will is always best. And remember all the more: our citizenship is in heaven; this world is not our home.

Oh! This may be a treat for this first day of spring. Apparently, the sky is going to be putting on a show tonight in honor of the equinox Go here to find out more. (Please excuse the references to the age of the universe.)

That's an encouragement about our country.

Yes, the Lord is in control and I am so thankful for that! This is so evident in spring, isn't it? No man could create the beautiful flowers you shared or give us the sweet songs of the birds. I rest in His care, not the health care of man; although I am thankful for the coverage we have, I know it could slip away anytime.

Happy Spring, dear friend!

It was a beautiful day here too. Thanks for those words about our country. I have been letting it get to me in a bad way healthwise. Happy Spring to you, Dear.

Yes, it has been a very long winter. I didn't think it would ever end...but you know me, I don't much like any temperature below 60 degrees.

Love,
Patti

No spring here, for a few days at least. We had 4" of snow and winter storm warnings.

I so agree with your words about the health care issue. We must all remember God is the one who is really in control and accomplishing what needs to be accomplished in His plans and purposes.

I love Spring. But ours didn't come in with warmer temps. Today has been cold - around 50 and tomorrow, it will be a high of around 40. And the wind is really blowing. Hopefully, the rest of the week will get warmer.

You are right, Maxine. God is truly in control, even if this terrible Health Care bill passes, which right now it looks like that is what will happen. We just have to trust that HE knows what is best for us.

Oh Maxine, I too am so happy it is finally spring time! I also look forward to the summertime as well. It's only the winter that makes me whine.

But I am happy for each and everday. Each day is truly a gift from God!

How blessed we are.

Yes, the Lord knows. I choose to not live in fear of man, but in the fear of God!
