Topsy-Turvy

In the midst of finishing up the income taxes and scrambling to get our third quarter school work in, we had to take hubby to the ER Monday afternoon whereupon they kept him overnight and took forever releasing him late yesterday. (He was feeling some discomfort in the chest for a week or so, and the doctor didn't want to play around with that. However, all tests revealed that it's not his heart, but probably a digestive issue, so we're thankful for that.) So, we hopefully also have some car issues straightened out as well and life is going on? A bit on the topsy-turvy side, but going on anyway.

Please forgive me for not checking in on all of you more often, but I'll try to get by later today. No matter what's going on in our lives, Jesus reigns.

Oh, I'm glad that it wasn't anything related to his heart. Hope he's feeling better soon.

Don't ever worry about how often you check in on others' blogs...the things going on in your life are important and need your full attention. I don't think anyone feels that their friendship with you is contingent upon you visiting their blog a certain number of times.

Have a great day.

Love,
Patti

I just returned yesterday from a quick trip to the midwest for my niece's wedding and saw your post today, Maxine - so glad that your husband is not having heart issues, and I pray the problem he has clears up soon. Jesus does reign, and I am so thankful, too. Don't worry about coming by - just take care of your husband and yourself and we'll hear from you whenever you can!

Sorry to hear about the ER trip, Maxine. I know how concerning that can be. So happy that it is NOT heart related and trust he will be back in tip-top shape soon.

Amen about Jesus reigning! It is a busy time of year to be sure for us too. We do experience so many ups and downs in life but Jesus is our anchor. Praise Him! I'm glad your husband's heart is good and pray that they will be able to help with the digestive issues. God bless!
