Girlie Friendship

I remember when I was in my late teens how important friends were. Above is a picture of my younger daughter (middle) with her two good friends from church. This is such an important time in their lives and I'm so thankful she has had them to share all the "girlie" things with. They all want to please God in their lives and are at various stages of schooling, etc. and each comes from a different culture. But they have unity in Christ.

However, my biggest prayer for them is that one day God will give to each of them a godly and honorable husband. I'm sure that He is the One who must do that and I'm praying they'll all be patiently waiting on Him until that time comes. I pray they'll keep themselves unto Him and for that day when He provides for them as only He can. I'm sure many of you will be praying the same prayer with me for our daughters and granddaughters.

By the way, my newest grandchild due in September is another girl. For whatever His reasons, the Lord has wanted our family to raise daughters for the kingdom. :)

Boy, I sure look forward to your wisdom about teens and teen girls. My daughter is 12 going on 18 sometimes, going on 10 at others.

Great prayer for our children.

How fun! Girls are fun to raise.
I pray right choices be made by your daughter and her friends. That they realize Christ is all in all for their lives, above everything. It's something they have to come to themselves and thru much prayer and intercession from those who love them.
Please keep my oldest in your prayers. She's had a crossroads where very important decisions need to be made concerning her relationship with her Savior.
God is good, and I have no doubt that she'll made the right ones, and my prayer is that it happen sooner than later, when she might have many regrets.
God bless!

Thanks, Susan and Lisa. All we can do is raise them as best we can and leave them to God. We only know for sure when they leave and make homes of their own, right? Be blessed.
