Anniversary No. 37

In the months of May through July we find out the news of our last post, we each have another birthday, enjoy Mother's Day and Father's Day, see our oldest gain another year, and today, CELEBRATE ANOTHER ANNIVERSARY!

Today marks thirty-seven years of our journey together as husband and wife, and we are thankful to the Lord, who ordained marriage to be the wonderful institution that it is. I am thankful for my hubby and for God's mercies to us. We have much to celebrate!

I won't write our story out again, but if you'd like to read it you can read last year's anniversary post.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! I can't believe it's been 1 year since your wedding story post! It seems like I just read it about a month ago! Time - faster than a "weaver's shuttle." In 2 weeks I'll be married 25 years... it's almost unbelievable. I hope you both have a great day, and pray that God will continue to bless you both.

Happy Anniversary!!

you shared,
"It was shortly thereafter that this young married couple officially began journeying together with the very One who had arranged and orchestrated all of the details of their lives in order that the aforementioned marriage might take place. This same kind Benefactor has kindly provided them with two daughters, a son-in-law, and a precious granddaughter. He also has bountifully supplied them with love, peace, and harmony."

How true that God does arrange and orchestrate the footsteps of the righteous.

Even though they continue to be recipients of abundant blessings from His hand, it will not be until both of them reach their real home in a far better land, claiming their mansions there while living in the presence of their King, that this couple will live happily ever after.

Well said. We never quite feel complete for some reason. I think you've hit the nail on the head in highlighting how it won't be until AFTER we go home that we truly live happily ever after.
