The Healthcare Distortion
As some of you know, Voddie Baucham is a man whose ministry I have a good deal of respect for. So much is being said about this healthcare issue, as it should be, and he brings up some very important considerations on this. After hearing what I am about how our country intends to deal with older people under this administration's much touted healthcare solution, I have to admit I've been a bit shaken that it's come to this. It's no small matter, and one that all people with any moral scruples should address with our representatives in Congress. If you are an older individual or anywhere approaching your senior years OR if you have parents or others whom you love who fall into this category, and don't know about this, THIS IS A MUST READ:

Our family, like Pastor Baucham's are members of Samaritan Ministries. It has worked beautifully!! My son's surgery last fall was completely paid by fellow Christians.
On another note, where I live, we've had an issue that has made the local news. A local man has been suffering from severe cluster headaches and is in severe pain several hours of the day. He wanted to do an experimental surgery to possibly relieve his pain. His insurance company would not cover experimental surgery. So, you know what, our community banded together. People gave donations of even a few dollars, and over $80,000 was raised---enough for his experimental surgery. The government didn't have to do anything!! People caring for one another CAN make a difference!.

I agree with you in posting!!!
Being a senior and having a 92 year old Mother, the thought of this health care plan coming into being scares me! But I have to trust God's Word that He will take care of his own. We can pray and do everything humanly possible to try and get our representatives/senators not to vote for this awful bill. But, God has the last say. I believe He is coming soon, and perhaps this might be the beginning of the end.
I read the to articles you suggested and still have to view the video. Thanks for posting these! I've been reading lots tonight about OBama's thoughts on Health Care and what he really wants for us, especially trying to kill off the seniors. He has a two-forked tongue - or, as some say, he talks out both sides of his mouth and thinks we aren't smart enough to catch what he really means.
