I Sure do.

Not that he wasn't without his problems and imperfections, but well, let's just say I do. And even though he's still being blamed for every thing that's wrong in the country, I still miss him. In fact, it started when he flew off in that helicopter over a year ago, as I said in my post of January 20th last year.

Anyway, I thought this billboard was funny. It stands along Interstate 35 in Wyoming, Minn. and was purchased by a group of small business owners and other people from that area who want to remain anonymous. What can I say, folks.

Enough said here.

I sure do miss him too, Maxine! My life was a lot more peaceful then. He was a President with morals and truth. I didn't have to be concerned about what he was going to do next.

Oh, yes, I miss him, and I agree with Susan. I love the billboard!

Well, I'll probably be alone with this comment, but no, I really don't miss him.

I do miss Ronald Reagan though...

It's a cute bill board though and it made me smile!

I understand, Debra. You're not alone. Lots of people don't. I think I wouldn't feel the way I do so much if I weren't struggling over so much of what has been happening since he left. But, of course, that's because my views are what they are, and as I said, I sometimes got upset with him at times. Yes, I miss Ronald Reagan also. I didn't appreciate him until much later though. I felt closer to Pres. Bush than any other because until fifteen years ago or so, I really cared little about what was going on in Washington. That's to my shame.

Thanks for putting this up Maxine. I heard about it on the radio but hadn't seen it. It's cute!

That's a good one! Oh yes, we do too. It's funny, I've heard it said that the new President can't blame the former after 6 months of being in office. Wow, not true with this one is it? He's bound and determined to blame until he leaves or gets (gulp)...reelected (YIKES, tho' I don't see it happening.)

Oh, how I miss him! At least we knew what we had in President Bush! We didn't have to worry about our nation being sold out! AND he believed this was a Christian nation, and he loved it!!

I have to say that I miss him too. What a great billboard.

BTW, my husband and I were in Washington DC for the Inaugural Ball when President Clinton was sworn in many years ago. We didn't vote for him but had received tickets to the Arkansas Ball so of course, we had to go.

But we both remember seeing the first President Bush and his wife leave in their helicopter. We felt such sadness as we had hoped he would serve another term.
