How true it was then. I know it's your prayer, as it is mine, that it will continue to be true. On this anniversary of her birth, pray for our country. Pray that the dream of the great men who framed her existence will live on. May we do everything we can to see that it does not die.

Yes, it is definitely our prayer that these things would be true of our country again. "May we do everything we can to see that it does not die"-- so very true.
