A Pilgrim in a Foreign Land

A PILGRIM IN A FOREIGN LAND

That's me. I'm on a journey to a holy place. I'm traveling through a land which is not my homeland really, I'm heading to a better country, to a city prepared by God.

I was tagged to do a six word memoir by Cathy and NannyKaren and I'm finally getting around to it. Thanks friends, for the blessing! Here are the rules:

1.Write your own six word memoir.
2.Post it on your blog, and include a visual illustration if you like.
3.Link to the person who tagged you in their post.
4.Tag five more blogs with links.
5.Remember to leave a comment on the tagged blogs inviting them to play.

I consider it a great privilege and blessing that God has given to His people the wonderful book above, by John Bunyan, an allegory depicting the journey of Christian and Christiana to the Celestial City. Have you read it? If not, please, please read it as soon as you can. It's a classic of all classics.

I'm tagging:

Neesie, Sparrow, Sara, Beka, and Bethany. I will not be at ALL offended if any of you can't do it!

I love your memoir, Maxine. And I still need to read that wonderful book that I won and you sent me. Surely it is not that much over my head?

Thank you for tagging me again! I will try and do it this time (and hopefully at some point I will be able to complete the last one!) Thank you again!
In Him,
Beth

I've enjoy this same book and read it when I was a new Christian. We are definitely those pilgrims in a foreign land traveling toward that City on a Hill. We are the citizens of Heaven.

Thanks for tagging me. I've posted mine as well.

Please have a blessed Mother's day.

Hi, Maxine! I found you because Sparrow tagged ME. :) It was fun to do - I did mine before I came to see yours, so it's a bit different - but it's still ME. :D
Have a BLESSED day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
